• Social Marketing Program: Candidate would be developing an existing social marketing program to a much higher and integrated level. In the case of some business entities of Greenleaf Hospitality Group this would include building the social marketing program from the ground up. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, etc. would be the expected mediums for development. Ideally the candidate would already carry knowledge on these sites and could provide insight on these and other appropriate social marketing mediums. The intern would begin by researching and spending time in each unit of Greenleaf Hospitality Group, gathering information and asking questions about the business and customers. This process would also include benchmarking, researching social marketing trends, development of integrated social marketing campaigns with web and email initiatives, and ultimately implementation of these programs. • Marketing Collateral Allocation: Management of marketing collateral pieces across all three physical properties of Greenleaf Hospitality Group. Monitoring the timing and allocations to each property and taking full advantage of the target audience we capture at each. This would also include being the champion for finding partners outside of our four walls in which we could distribute and get information out to the public. • Email Database Maintenance: Updating email addresses when received through various promotions that drive the receipt of this information as well as administering email marketing campaigns as they relate to the social marketing programs. Marketing Purchase Orders: Marketing Intern would work closely with the Marketing Manager to help manage the marketing budgets and coordinate the Purchase Order process with internal staff and with external vendors, etc.
Qualifications: - Marketing/Advertising/Communications Major -Knowledgeable in Social Marketing mediums – “very computer savvy” - Talented in building relationships - Talented in Thought Process – Ex. “How can we implement a program that benefits the company and is appealing to the consumer while driving revenue and building customer loyalty?” - Observant – Would like this candidate to bring knowledge and examples to the table of what might work and what might not work? - Available six months ideally at 20-30 hours per week
